Constructing automated strategies

In Exeria it is possible to create automated strategies without the need for programming, thanks to ready-made blocks. Buying or selling signals are generated by comparing or intercepting different data series, for example, instrument price, technical indicators, trend line, or horizontal lines. The place and type of transaction in the form of an arrow is immediately visualized on the chart.

Strategies created in Exeria can be simple or more sophisticated. Starting with an example of a simple strategy of two moving averages, through strategies using candle formations, and on strategies using statistical arbitrage ending. In most cases - it depends on the creator's knowledge, experience and ingenuity.

Testing automated strategies

Historical data is used to test automated strategies. It is possible to test the results of a single strategy with the "Equity line" available in the strategies group or under the (+) button on the chart. Testing multiple strategies or one strategy running on more than one instrument empowers the 'Strategy Tester.'

The strategy tester also allows you to generate a detailed report from strategies tests.

Running automated strategies

To run an automated strategy, drag a specific strategy from the "my strategies" field into the "strategy controller" field. The strategy added in this way implicitly uses the instrument and the interval used to create the strategy and the minimum transaction unit. It is also possible to configure a strategy for any instrument, interval, or transaction unit. Calculations are done in the cloud, and the user can control running strategies from any device.

Constructing portfolios

Creating a portfolio enables a component called "strategy tester." It is necessary to place the strategy in the "strategy tester" field, as well as assign them specific instruments and intervals. A component called "portfolio summary" gives you the ability to change the weight of a single strategy in your portfolio. To save the portfolio, click the cloud icon in the top left corner of the "Strategy Tester" field and add a title and description.

Cloud computing

The Exeria platform uses the power of cloud computing. This means that the user doesn’t need to worry about infrastructure for running strategies and portfolios. Strategies and portfolios work whether the computer, tablet or smartphone is running and connected to the Internet or not.
